Glory Ride , a new musical based on a true story from World War II, will make its world premiere as a staged concert November 14–16 at London’s The Other Palace. Featuring music, lyrics, and a book by the daughter and father team Victoria and Todd Buchholz, the three performances will be directed by Shaun Kerrison. Casting will be announced at a later date. Glory Ride explores how a cyclist, an accountant, and the Cardinal of Tuscany joined forces for a remarkable rescue operation. The new musical reveals the untold tale of an Italian Tour de France winner who used his fame and his bicycle to save hundreds of children from Mussolini’s fascists.
